Capricorn Food Products India Ltd., head office located in Chennai, India, offers fruit pulp, purees and concentrate in bulk packing (aseptic and cans).

Capricorn has introduced Blast Freezing and Individual Quick Freezing (IQF), the most advanced method to preserve the natural characteristics of food. Fresh vegetables can be processed at our plant. As for fruits, we process Mango, Pineapple, Guava, Papaya, Pomegranate, Banana etc. in the form of cubes /slices/chunks or fruit juice/pulp.

Our facility is the largest in India for this application. It has a capacity of 3.6MT per hour in IQF AND 24 MT per day in bulk blast frozen. We have cold stores which can store the products at minus 18°C for a capacity of 2000MT. We have registered under FDA and Kosher Certified by Orthodox Union. The plant is at present undergoing BRC certification. Its proximity to Chennai sea port makes it convenient for moving refer containers to the port and storing very short lead times and ensuring prompt deliveries

The Group has a proven track record of 25 years in Chemical manufacturing and trading. Today the group has many chemical factories in South India and has a turnover of Rs.1000 million in the chemical division alone. These South Indian based factories have their own network of transport. The Group has a Trading Division, which deals with the Import and Export of all Bulk Chemicals from Iran, Philippines, China etc. Capricorn groups have a wealthy clientele including Procter & Gamble, Henkel, Unilever, etc and have branches in Singapore and Dubai.
